TITLE: DIRECTOR FOR PROFESSIONAL LEARNING AND DATA COORDINATION
Qualifications
Educational: Appropriate Administrative Certification. School District Leader (SDL) or School Administrator Supervisor (SAS)
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience preferred.

Job Goal
Development of professional learning activities in support of the district’s goals and
instructional program.
Completes tasks associated with the district’s data collection, reporting, and verification responsibilities linked to state and federal accountability measures.
Responsibilities
1) Assists the Asst. Supt. for Instruction, Directors, and Building Principals with the planning and implementation of the staff development program.
2) Assists the Asst, Supt. for Instruction, Directors, and Building Principals with Superintendent's Conference Day(s).
3.) Maintain and further develop the district’s professional learning catalog.
4.) Assists the Asst, Supt. for Instruction, Directors, and Building Principals with our annual New Teacher Orientation.
5) Supports and implements the district’s mentoring program, in collaboration with CTA and Building Principals.
6) Assists the Asst, Supt. for Instruction, Directors, and Building Principals with the recruitment, selection, assignment, and evaluation of certified personnel.
7.) Supports and coordinates the onboarding of new staff and substitutes.
8.) Supports the Director of Technology with the use of instructional technology across the district.
9) Represents the District at local, regional, and state meetings and conferences related to staffdevelopment.
10.) Serves as chief data administrator for the district.
11) Reports data to the Regional School Support Center. Including SIRS (Student Information Repository System) information linked to accountability measures, student counts, teacher certifications, civil rights data reporting, and data verification.
12.) Supports activities related to Regents Exams (scanning and reporting) 3-8 NYSED Math, ELA, and Science testing, and the district’s assessment system.
13) Supplies timely reports and support to all aspects of data generated for the Asst, Supt. for Instruction, Directors, and Building Principals as requested through screening, progress monitoring, diagnostic classroom, and local and state assessments.
14.) Manages the Student Data System in collaboration with Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES.
Other
Performs related duties as required or assigned.
Evaluation
Performance of the job will be evaluated annually by the Assistant Superintendent for
Instruction in accordance with Board of Education policy.
