TECHNICAL THEATER MANAGER

Are you passionate about the magic of theater and technology?  Step into the spotlight as our next Audio-Visual Technician!  In this role, you will manage the technical side of school, community, and special performances as well as bring shows to life with professional- grade lighting, sound, and stage systems.  Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will play a key role in coordinating and directing the technical magic behind the scenes.

 

What you will be doing:

Lead all technical aspects of productions and events, from lights and sound to stage curtains and rigging.

Review and approve stage sets, lighting, and sound designs for school productions.

Supervise and schedule part-time and volunteer staff, including student helpers.

Act as the go-to person for any stage or theater-related event across the district.

Plan annual budgets to keep our district’s facilities show-ready.

Adapt to a flexible schedule to cover occasional evening and weekend events.

(Full-time Employees qualify for a paid differential of $. 75/hr. for hours worked between

 3:00p.m. and 6:00 a.m.)
