Teachers- Special Class 12:1:1 Special Education (number needed TBD): 8:00-1:30 M-F

Emphasis on maintenance of reading, math, writing, communication and social-emotional skills for Primary/Elementary/Middle classrooms. Classroom teachers provide support to students with disabilities who are at high risk for significant regression in academic, social, physical, behavioral or communication skills without continued special education services and supports during an Extended School Year (ESY). Experience with implementing a balanced literacy approach, to include daily, small group instruction, as well as on going progress monitoring. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: NEW YORK STATE CERTIFICATION IN APPROPRIATE SUBJECT AREA
